The ISWA 096 document is the document needed to provide all details for obtaining and maintaining Halal certification with us (along with any supplemental international standards as needed.)
Testing is a requirement in order to keep in good standing with your certification. All companies must send samples of their Halal products, obtain the test results from an ISO 17025 accredited lab.
Clusters are intended to be used for accreditation scope of accredited certification bodies, and for accreditation bodies witnessing certification bodies.
In order to verify a certificate or a company’s certification status, scan the QR code with the smart phone camera found at the bottom of the certificate to get the correct certificate number.
The ISWA Halal Certification Department is a completely separate organization from the Islamic Society of the Washington Area. If you have any questions regarding our certification please contact us directly and not them.
Unauthorized use of a trademark or service mark (or a substantially similar mark) on competing or related goods and services or any other trademark infringements are subject to a $250,000 fine per incident.
